John! When I opened up the PAG website, and saw the "St. Johns bridge" image, my jaw literally dropped. Truly. And then I checked out the Tacoma Narrows Bridge image, and my jaw dropped again! And I looked at the "Inside Outside" image and yes, you guessed it, my jaw dropped again! The "end of the world" image is a little bit too creepy for moi, and "why not" gave me the willies. And by the way "the Woodsman" is a simply simply stunning character study. My hat is off to you…You seem to grow day by day into an increasingly masterful photographer. Thank you, Rosie

And thanks for the Stu Jenks link. He has some fantastic stuff, in all senses of the word. Some of it reminds us where peyote comes from and a lot of it is really fine.

OK, I opened the PAG site just now, saw that you had posted some new images, which is always a treat for me. So I opened "Street Boys" and dude, it just STOPPED ME INSIDE.
Can't even look at your other new posts yet, I have to go recover. Might take a while.

Rosie - thanks for the great praise! This picture was a happy accident - one of about 100 nothing-special pictures I took at a concert with my point-n-shoot.

I like this one a lot John! Personally, I would crop out everything but the biker to really make him look like he's flying and to simplify the photo, but that's just me.

Dear mister president,
This knick knack woman has a hint of Diane Arbus to it (!) and the color is perfect. Would, however, like to see "Joanne" in B&W, please thank you. In this case, I feel that the color
distracts from the power of the portrait. Mind you, this is just my B&W biased opinion.

Kurt - thanks! Most of these were in the Anza Borrego desert in California, east of San Diego. And, although the blazing sun takes some getting used to, it was nice to have mid-70s dry weather in January!

Interesting series of photos. Pretty amazing what you can get with such a simple thing. Keith Carter says that blur is just as much a part of photography as is sharpness. Kurt
