Happy New Year, and welcome to the first PAG meeting of 2025. Our Jan. 16 meeting features presentations from our newest members, those who joined the group in 2024— David Scott, Charles Krentz, and Eric Baxter. All three do a wide range of photography, from landscape to people — as Eric’s put it: “If it will stand still long enough, I’ll shoot it.” And sometimes it doesn’t even need to stand still, as you’ll see in the presentation.
In addition, we’ll be taking nominations for open positions on the group’s Executive Committee, including President, Vice President and Treasurer. Our bylaws call for nominations in January, with the election to take place at the February meeting. Every year we encourage new blood at the top of our group to help keep the PAG energized. If you can fill one of these roles, please consider pitching in.
And finally, the new year also brings the annual call for dues. You can bring your $30 to the meeting, or mail it to our soon-to-be-retiring treasurer, Allan Doerksen (see address on email announcement or the PAG member list).
